Hello and welcome, I’m so glad you’re here! I’m Catherine, founder of Meals Mapped Out, established in February 2024.

I’m a wife of 13 years and a mum to three girls, with a very bouncy labradoodle always in the mix. My faith is a big part of who I am, and much of my time is centred around church and family life.

I love good food and how it brings people together. I also love writing, so creating meal plans was a natural way to combine both! As a qualified Early Childhood Teacher, I’m also passionate about families being well-fed with wholesome meals that don’t cost the earth.

When I’m not in the kitchen, you’ll find me on date night with hubby, at the playground with my girls, running, sewing, or studying (1 Pet 3:15).

Meals Mapped Out was an idea that sparked in the middle of busy evenings, rising grocery costs, and that constant question of what’s for dinner? I hope our plans lighten your load, reduce your costs and allow you to enjoy nutritious meals every night of the working week!

OUR VISION

At Meals Mapped Out, we understand the weeks are busy. The never-ending list of daily responsibilities can mean that meal planning can easily slip to the bottom of the list. It requires significant time and effort to think up varying, cost-effective dinner plans on a weekly basis and for many busy families, it simply does not happen. This often leads to stressful, costly trips to the supermarket, or expensive takeaways on a regular basis.

Our vision is to see ordinary, everyday families enjoying delicious dinners made of real ingredients. It doesn't need to be overly fancy or expensive - just good, proper Kiwi dinners that leave tummies fuller and families happier. Our meal plans are designed with this vision in mind. We aim to create plans which ease stress, lower costs, reduce overwhelm and increase the joy of family meal times - every night of the working week.

WORKS

We start by offering everyone a free downloadable meal plan. This gives you a chance to try our recipes and experience the joy of having dinner planned for you, at no cost.

Love our service? Our plans are just $5 a week. Simply sign up and every Thursday, we'll email you a new plan containing 5 dinner recipes. Also included is a shopping list of the required ingredients, giving you the weekend to grab your dinner ingredients within your regular weekly shop.
